Waltz Dance, Volume 1 - Beginning Waltz Dance by DanceCrazy

Waltz Dance, Volume 1 - Beginning Waltz Dance by DanceCrazy

The Waltz is a graceful dance of pure beauty.  It is so beautiful that I just had to learn how to do it.  My body is not in good shape due to illness after illness but I will get to where I need to be with help to stay active.  This helps me with that an it is very easy simple steps for beginners.  It is very easy to follow and I love the fluidity of the beginners steps.  I dream of being a fancy dancer but I know I will never have that but I still can learn with these dvd step by step to be the best dancer I can be.

Detail from frontispiece to Thomas Wilson's Correct Method of German and French Waltzing (1816), showing nine positions of the Waltz, clockwise from the left (the musicians are at far left). At that time, the waltz was a relatively new dance in England, and the fact that it was a couples dance (as opposed to the traditional group dances), and that the gentleman actually clasped his arm around the lady's waist, gave it a dubious moral status in the eyes of some.
The waltz is a smooth, progressive ballroom and folk dance, normally in About this sound triple  time, performed primarily in closed position.

This dvd is a quick beginners course on waltz 101.  It is very explanatory and easy to follow.  The whole format is very smooth and easy to follow.  Many hours I have spent on dvd to learn and master waltz.  Yes, I am still very far from coming close to waltzing but it will be easy and eventually I will progress so I know all the points and movements.  I can not wait because this is always been my favorite dance to watch.  It looks so sophisticated and graceful.
