My son loved this. He has issues still with writing and this he actually liked playing with because of the magnets. It is much easier for him to use these well built tiles with magnets that easily stick to the board. It has a very convenient area to store them on the side of the board. My son finds it easy to grip the tiles and place them down. It is really good for fine motor skill practice and kids love magnets. This encourage this as a great beginners tool for basic reading.
