Insect Excavation Kit Review By Discover with Dr Cool

Insect Excavation Kit Review by Discover with Dr Cool

This is one of the very few things my son actually enjoyed doing that is not electronic! Ours were pretty easy to find near the bottom of bottom of the bug. :) ... We got a scorpion, Spiny spider, and a fortune beetle I believe. My son actually went nuts chipping away to find them. He did the rest a little disappointed there wasn't more but he really loved the whole activity! Thank you for letting us try this great learning tool.

In the kit: a hand sized giant bug in solid material. Inside of the insect is three bugs for you to find and discover. They are in flat clear marbles and can be seen crystal clear. I think this is ingenious since if they where not in the glass they would be broken by the little scientist. It would make a perfect specimen to look under your microscope to see. They are also perfect sized to store away for future projects or to display.
