My thoughts:  This pad is amazing!  We have tried the kind insurance sends and they do not hold up.  They are temporary one use pads.  The fluff flies everywhere and does not stay in place.  This product is mostly material!  This is a wonderful product that can be used more than once.  We just washed ours and let it air dry and it was clean for the next use.  Also the bed was dry underneath which is the whole purpose of these.  I can not say the same for the insurance paid ones we get.  Overall this product holds up way beyond the competition and we love it.
